BLACK BOX

This year I composed an original score for The Guardian podcast series Black Box, a 7 parter about AI and our relationship to it. Detuned synth arps, pads, drones and plinkyplonk strings accompany these uncanny, terrifying, absurd stories. Listen to Black Box at The Guardian. Listen to the OG Score.

F*** AI 2024

Listen to F*** AI by me, Rudi Zygadlo on spotify. You can watch the video here. You can ignore it here. Lifted from forthcoming album Auto Fiction

LULLY

My side project inspired by the death of French baroque composer Jean Baptiste Lully. The first single Slow Ds was a minor hit (1.5m+ streams.) The Music video directed by Jonny Blair was a triumph. My track Wow Esme from the eponymous EP definitely does not contain a sample from the rite of spring.

MUSIC PRODUCTION/COWRITES

Here’s a playlist of songs I have written and produced for other artists, including a Kpop hit called Love Me A Little by Monster X. Other artists featured include Brother May, Nayana Iz and Fhat.

DOGGERLAND (2023)

The Doggerland LP was released June 2023. A testament to the wig, groucho-tache and big riff years. You can buy it on vinyl from the Store. You can also buy Tees. You can watch videos for the singles, Somewhere In Glasgow, In the Midden and Thriving Not Diving and Sellotape on Youtube.

SISSY FUSS

Music and visual project with my buddy George Finlay Ramsay. You can listen to our double album Raven’s Reprise/Bad Rhythm released on the Stay Awake label. We also contributed to Mica Levi’s label Curl Compilation volume 1. Our single No Restraint is an undiscovered pop masterpiece.

LOVE INFINITY (2022)

I composed the score for Oscar Winner Tim Yip’s inscrutable film Love Infinity with collaborator George Finally Ramsay. You can watch it on MUBI. The film is part of an on continuing eponymous project involving the cast and related exhibitions. Follow the mayhem on IG
